Drees & Sommer UK Opens New Oxford Office

This week marks the opening of a new office for Drees & Sommer UK in Oxford city centre on Becket Street. The new office will allow our clients in the area to receive a more dedicated, local service with an experienced team providing all core services from the new city centre location.

The expansion comes on the back of growth figures for the company of over 30% across the last year. The Oxford office will provide greater geographical coverage, supporting and dovetailing into both the London and Birmingham offices along with providing coverage in between and out towards Bristol and the South West.

Drees & Sommer UK has a broad range of clients in the region and is working on a number of exciting local commissions. These include a forward-thinking, mixed-use development for Oxford City Council providing both retail and office space in the heart of the city. Within education, projects are underway for the University of Oxford, St. John’s College, the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (Oxcis) and for a number of academies and independent schools. In the Oxford and Banbury areas, we are supporting DHL Supply Chain as they develop third-party logistics outsourcing opportunities with their expansive client base. Further work in the region includes commissions for Honda, Santander, G4S and professional commercial surveying at Harwell Campus. Within healthcare, we are working at Townlands Hospital at Henley on Thames for Amber and are building on our current close relationship with the firms operating health facilities across Oxford.

Drees & Sommer UK is a member of the Oxford Porridge Club, a group that provides the opportunity for property and construction professionals to network in the Oxfordshire region. As an active member, AA Projects has played a strong role in the local, professional community for a number of years.
