Drees & Sommer UK welcomes new Divisional Director of Quantity Surveying

We’re extremely pleased to welcome Ian Mitchell to our London office as Divisional Director of Quantity Surveying.

With over 25 years of experience in providing cost management services to the health and public sectors, Ian has worked on PFI contracts, acute hospitals, primary care, and technical facilities such as laboratories, high-tech diagnostic departments, and imaging centres across the UK.

Ian joins the London team of Drees & Sommer UK from AECOM where he was also a director, focusing on healthcare and building client relationships in the public sector. He’ll be supporting our clients to negotiate the challenging market they operate in, working with them to use their funding to maximum effect.

Speaking about his appointment, Ian said: “I am so excited with my new role at Drees & Sommer UK. Clients can expect a dedicated service from me. Using my years of experience in the healthcare sector, I want to help them create a vision of their estate, working together to understand their needs and deliver them.”

Ian will be strengthening our healthcare offer in the South, while supporting clients across the country, building relationships, and sharing his wealth of experience.
