Pleased to announce that Birmingham Dental Hospital and School of Dentistry has been shortlisted in three categories for the RICS West Midlands awards; Community benefit, Design through Innovation and Infrastructure. The winners will be announced on 18 May 2017.
Officially opened in November 2015 by Her Majesty The Queen, the £50m development represents the first integrated, stand-alone dental hospital and dental school to be built in the UK for almost 40 years. The four-storey building provides a range of high quality clinical dental services for the public in one wing, while a second wing will offer world-class research facilities and a modern learning environment for more than 600 undergraduate and postgraduate students and trainees each academic year.
