Further Funding Announced for Academies

The Education and Skills Funding Agency has confirmed there will be a further round of the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) for 2018/19 to finance building improvements together with some expansion. For this year alone the fund includes an additional £100 million, referred to as the Healthy Pupils Capital Fund (HPCF).

The HPCF will allow academies to apply for improvement to facilities for physical activity, healthy eating, mental health and wellbeing and medical conditions. This would include kitchens, dining facilities, changing rooms, playgrounds and sports facilities.
