Handover of First Care Home for New Care

We reached handover of a £15 million care home in Formby. New Care are one of the UK’s fastest growing development-led care home operators and part of the McGoff Group. This our first of four schemes for the client.

The 76-bed care facility known as Formby Manor will cater for the aspiring needs of residents providing the highest standards of person-centred care including residential, nursing and specialist dementia care services, in a safe and comfortable environment.

The 43,000sq ft facility includes en-suite bedrooms, communal lounges, dining rooms, spa assisted bathrooms, a courtyard and landscaped gardens. The facility also includes a hair salon and nail bar.

The facility provides high end hotel-style services to residents, that ensure continued quality of life. Drees & Sommer UK were appointed as Employer’s Agent on the scheme.
