Redevelopment of No. 2 Union Street, Manchester

We have been appointed by Union Square Manchester Ltd. to provide Employer's Agent and Quantity Surveying services on this exciting residential led mixed-use development, in the heart of the Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre.

The scheme comprises the retention and restoration of the façade to no. 2 Union Street, demolition and redevelopment of the remainder of the site to create 37 apartments within a new residential building rising on Red Lion Street from 5 to 8 to 11 storeys before stepping down from 7 to 3 storeys in height on Union Street. There will also be 200 sqm of flexible commercial floorspace at ground floor level with associated cycle parking, landscaping and ancillary works. This development will provide new homes and businesses to a flourishing market.
