We are happy to announce the addition of two new Directors

Five months into 2022 and here at AA Projects we have had a lot of exciting news to share, including our partnership with Drees & Sommer. Our planned growth for the upcoming five years is exciting and full of opportunities. As a part of this forward thinking, we are pleased to announce the promotion of Stephen Abbott and Stephen Niels Jacobsen to the role of Director.

The duo joined AA Projects in 2017/18 and have contributed to the significant growth of our central government and commercial sectors.

Abbott has over 20 years’ experience as a project manager, leading the project management team and is AA Project’s key account manager for UK Parliament. He works closely with UK Parliament on the Mechanical Electrical Public Health & Fabric Safety Programme (MEPFS) overseeing our Project Managers, Cost Managers, Business Case support specialists as we deliver this essential risk reduction programme in the Palace of Westminster.

We asked Stephen what he is most proud of so far during his time at AA Projects and he said “In my time at AA Projects, I have had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of clients including UK Parliament, UCLan and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. Over the past 5 years, the PM team have grown considerably, diversifying our service offering across various clients, sectors, and geography. The PM team are a fantastic group and I enjoy seeing them develop, gaining more experience as they progress through their careers. I look forward to seeing what the future will bring”

Key to AA Projects expansion in retail as well as industrial and logistics sectors, Jacobsen splits his time between the UK and Europe. With over 18 years’ experience, Jacobsen delivers specialist Cost and Project Management services and is currently working on major logistic facilities, office fitouts and retail developments.

Speaking of his promotion, Stephen Niels Jacobsen said “Since joining AA Projects, I have been very fortunate in working on some very interesting projects with great Clients, supported by the best team. I am very much looking forward to building upon the success of the last four years and driving forward our growth plans in key sectors both in the UK and overseas”.
