We are pleased to share that the extension to Stonehill House at Bloxham School has been completed. The extension provides new accommodation that includes a new communal common room, comfortable bedrooms as well as numerous modern toilet and shower facilities.

This project sees a derelict coach house reinstated through clever design that has resulted in the perfect balance between old and new architecture.

Due to being located alongside a Grade II listed building, the project team worked closely with planning officers to ensure the extension sits comfortably next to its heritage neighbours.

As part of the project team, Drees & Sommer UK worked alongside SOLID Engineering, Acanthus Clews Architects, CBG Consultants, Edgars, Edgar Taylor Construction as well as WIG Engineering to provide the client with cost management support.

Our services covered the production of a feasibility cost estimate, pre-tender estimate, tender analysis, and report as well as proactive cost management and contract administration for the client through RIBA stage 5.
