We are proud partners of the Government Property Conference 2023!

As we have had the Christmas break, we wanted to remind you about the fact that we are proud partners for the Built Environment Networks Government Property Conference 2023, taking place on the 11th of January 2023.

UK Government owns 16 million square metres of property and land across the UK, encompassing capital for 23 ministerial departments, 20 non-ministerial departments and 413 agencies.

This conference brings together senior leadership from across the Office of Government Property, the Cabinet Office and the Government Property Agency to explore the new 8-year plan to deliver smaller, better and greener estate across £515bn worth of assets.

Our Government sector lead Sarah Butler, will be taking to the stage, chairing the Session Three Panel which is all about Driving Efficiency in Government Property alongside Mark Duddy from Government Property Agency, Angela Harrowing from the Cabinet Office as well as Colin Casse from HMRC.

Ranging from the ongoing One Public Estate programme to disposals, the government has major plans to rationalise its estate. This session examines the efficiency element of the new 8-year plan and explores ways the public and private sector can work together to deliver its goal.
