Hélice, new Headquarter of BMW Group, France

Drees & Sommer has taken over Project Management for BMW Group France for the construction of the new company headquarters in France.

The 6-storey building offers 14300 m2 of workplaces for 700 people and is equipped with a cafeteria, a restaurant, event facilities and a workshop. The outdoor facilities and a multi-storey car park offer 900 parking spaces for cars (126 of which are for electric vehicles) and around 100 parking spaces for two-wheelers.

Designed to operate 100% in flex office, the France headquarters is also intended to inspire the reference for BMW's future headquarters around the world. Its design has been the subject of a real collaborative effort, called Question Everything, with the car manufacturer's teams, whose opinion was sought both for the design of the spaces and the choice of equipment, themes to be favoured, colours and much more!

The team supported BMW during the negotiations to convert the lease agreement into a purchase agreement. Along with producing the building services design for the main building and developing the power supply scheme for the infrastructure of the charging stations for electric vehicles.
