Drees & Sommer have been assisting our client London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham decarbonise their estate.

Our team have been providing the client with a clear carbon roadmap for 15 council owned properties, providing detailed information on the most effective ways to achieve carbon neutral compared to a business-as-usual scenario.

Following the success of Salix Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS2) grant applications, prepared by our capital funding specialists, we were then further appointed by the client to implement the decarbonisation initiatives on these schemes.

This grant will be used to decarbonise Broadway Children’s Centre as well as the Macbeth Centre Annex building. The projects will improve loft insulation and heating infrastructure as well as include the installation of air source heat pumps to replace existing gas boilers. Led by our Energy and Sustainability Consultants, the team will be providing London Borough of Hammersmith with Project Management and Principal Designer support.
