New Care
Drees & Sommer have worked collaboratively with client New Care as Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveyor on numerous luxury private care home schemes across the UK. The successful completion of these homes has enabled New Care to realise their vision of providing well-designed, high-specification facilities that raise the standard of care across the UK.
All the New Care homes include outdoor spaces, wellbeing facilities and a hotel like fitout. Where schemes are designed for dementia, consideration is given to the work carried out by Sterling University and others to ensure that the designs are dementia friendly including such items as a dementia path which begin and end in the same location.
Many schemes are constructed using a lightweight steel frame, speeding up the delivery and maintaining exceptional quality.
All completed schemes have been delivered by McGoff Construction on time, to budget, and in-line with the expectations of New Care and associated funders. From appointment we are proactive and liaise regularly with stakeholders to coordinate the team, monitor progress, oversee costs, and assess variations to the contract.
The team will continue to support New Care into 2022 and beyond.
